Who we are
aiEra is an AI solutions and software development agency based in Athens, Greece. For anything relating to this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@aiera.gr or +30 210 220 7915.
The contact form
When you send us a message we collect your name, your email address, your company name (optional) and the content of your message. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry — never to send you marketing you did not ask for.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. The message is delivered to our own mailbox by our email provider, Resend.
OpenAI Ads conversion matching
With your consent, the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel may detect supported contact information that you enter into forms on this website — such as your email address or name — for Automatic advanced matching. This helps match conversions, such as submitting the contact form, to ads more accurately and measure their results. The information is converted in your browser into a non-readable code (hash) before it is sent with the conversion event; the original value is not sent to OpenAI through this feature. If you decline or withdraw consent, the Pixel and Automatic advanced matching remain disabled.
Spam protection and security
To stop automated abuse of the contact form we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs invisibly in the background and does not ask you to solve a puzzle. As a condition of using Turnstile in invisible mode, we are required to point you to Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum, linked at the end of this section.
We also briefly hold your IP address in memory to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection in a short period. It is used only for that check and is not stored in a database or used to identify you.
Booking a call
Our contact page embeds a Calendly scheduling window. If you book a call, the details you enter there are processed by Calendly under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not use it, simply email or phone us instead.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address in order to serve pages and protect against attacks. We do not use your IP address to guess your language: each language simply has its own web address (Greek at aiera.gr, English under aiera.gr/en/). You choose with the EN / ΕΛ switch, and your choice is remembered in your own browser.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising cookies for ad targeting. Google Analytics 4 and OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel use cookies or browser storage, so we ask for consent before they run — if you decline, they stay off. The OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel stores a first-party __oppref cookie, a privacy-preserving attribution reference used to measure conversions from ChatGPT ads. Ahrefs Web Analytics is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you. In local storage, the site stores only four small preferences in your own browser, so it can remember how you like to read it: your chosen theme (light or dark), your chosen language, whether a one-time prompt has already been shown to you in this session, and your cookie choice above. Clearing your browser storage removes them. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so no third-party font provider is contacted when you browse.
Who else processes your data
We keep the list of third parties as short as possible. Each one acts on our instructions, or under its own policy where you interact with it directly: Cloudflare (hosting and Turnstile spam protection), Resend (delivering contact-form messages to our mailbox), Google (our mailbox provider, and Google Analytics if you agree to it), OpenAI (the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel, if you agree to it, to measure conversions from ChatGPT ads and use supported form details in hashed form for Automatic advanced matching), Ahrefs (cookieless website statistics) and Calendly (only if you choose to book a call). Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area; where that is the case, transfers are made under the safeguards their agreements provide, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your request and to keep a record of our correspondence. If you ask us to delete it, we will — see your rights below.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Write to info@aiera.gr and we will respond. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
